A new-look stop smoking team will help Wigan Borough residents quit smoking.
The Be Well Stop Smoking Service was officially launched in October with the aim of supporting more local people to give up smoking for good.
As well as providing specialist guidance and a range of options for those looking to quit, expert advisors will be proactively engaging with residents out in the community.
A public 60-minute Yoga class open to all levels and abilities.
Kelly is a 200-hour certified Yoga Instructor and currently in the process of becoming a 500-hour Yoga Medicine Therapeutic Specialist.
Kelly has a background in sports and bodybuilding and specific trainings in Myofascial Release and Traditional Chinese Medicine which she incorporates into her classes.
Learning the tools to look after your own physical and mental wellbeing is the empowering goal of attending these classes.
1:1 private yoga sessions are available at request.

I am a level 3 Personal Trainer alongside being a qualified Yoga Teacher. I like to combine my personal varied exercise history of fitness, weightlifting and bodybuilding with my expertise as a yoga instructor trained in myofascial release and Traditional Chinese Medicine.
The human body fascinates me and I feel strongly and passionately that helping to empower people not only to feel better within themselves but also to arm them with knowledge and self-care tools to care for themselves really is the path to overall optimal health.
I run personal 1 on 1 sessions from my home location in Ince or from Abram Community Centre.
At the moment we are happy with the number of members that we have and are not looking for any more.
Every Wednesday 12:30 – 14:30. ONLY £2.50 a session. Enjoy regular visits from various artists demonstrating their work for you to enjoy and paint along with. Grab your paints come along for a chat! With a half-time break full of tea, coffee, and cakes!
Councillor Nazia Rehman holds a monthly advice surgery for Abram Ward residents at Abram Community Centre.
Councillor Rehman's surgeries take place on the first Friday of each month at Abram Community Centre, Vicarage Road, Abram, WN2 5QZ from 10am till 11am in the office.
Please note that access is via the Vicarage Road Entrance.
Councillor Rehman surgeries can also be attended remotely by use of Microsoft Teams. Please contact Councillor Rehman for a meeting link and to agree a time slot.

The WJJF Wigan is a Martial Arts club based in Abram in Wigan Lancashire, teaching Traditional Ju-Jitsu to Junior and Senior students.
Established in 2014. We are a small community based Martial Arts club who have a team of dedicated individuals who are fully DBS checked and cleared, first aid trained and attend regular training to keep their knowlege and coaching qualifications up to date enabling the club to teach Ju-Jitsu martial arts to adult and junior students from the age of 5 – 70.
What’s more, our aim is to make your child’s or your own experience of martial arts fun and exciting, whilst maintaining the highest standard of training and safety for all of our students.
We are members of of the World Ju-Jitsu Federation UK and our registered club number is 300 / 2019.

The forum was set up in 2018 for Labour CLP members to give Women members a voice in the CLP and ensure that women are fully involved in the work of the local party.

We meet regularly in Abram, within our own building at Abram Community Centre, Vicarage Road, Abram Wigan, WN2 5QX, to take part in activities and enjoy each other's company.
We were founded in 1944 to provide a place for young people to meet and learn new skills. Our association is made up of people of all ages who enjoy making new friends, meeting new ones and simply enjoy spending time together at one of our meetings or events.
We are a Modern Line Dance club, established over 25 years and are fully qualified BWDA instructors in Line Dance. We call ourselves a ‘Modern Line Dance club’ as we Line Dance to a huge variety of music and we teach a very varied variety of current and popular Line Dances. We pride ourselves on holding classes which cater from Beginner to Intermediate + levels. In addition to classes we hold monthly Line Dance socials which brings other dancers together from other classes across different areas. We also enjoy running Line dance weekend breaks in places such as St Annes, Blackpool & Fleetwood. We love to welcoming new people into our group to share our passion and favourite past time.
